Welcome to the tea and cold brew corner! Sometimes, the easiest way to support your body and make life a little better is simply by enjoying a good cup of tea or a refreshing iced drink. This section is dedicated to simple, comforting daily recipes that you can easily make in your kitchen to add a little extra herbal goodness to your day.
The Daily Hot Tea
For a quick, warm cup of tea, keep it simple. A French press, a tea ball, or a mason jar with a strainer works perfectly.
- The Basics: Use about 1 teaspoon of your tea blend per cup of hot water.
- How to Make It: Pour hot water over your herbs, cover your cup or jar, and let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Keeping it covered ensures all the wonderful flavors and aromatic oils stay right in your mug!
The Cold Brew
Cold brewing is an amazing way to make a larger batch of a refreshing drink to keep on hand in the fridge.
- The Basics: You will use a bit more of your herbal blend than you would for a single hot tea.
- How to Make It: Add your blend to a large jar or pitcher, cover completely with cold water, and let it steep in the refrigerator overnight (about 12 to 24 hours). Strain it out, and you have a delicious cold brew that stays fresh for a few days.
